Turn from something - sin and self "But unles you repent you will all likewise perish" Luke 13:3b Turn to Someone; trust Christ only - The Bible tells us that "Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and the He was buried, and that He rose again the third dsy according to the Scriptures" I Corinthians 15:2b-4 "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" Romans 10:9 H is for Heaven. Romans 10:9 Salvation Prayer: "Dear Jesus, I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and that You arose from the grave. I now ask You to forgive me of my sins and to save my soul. Amen" I am not Ashamed: "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." Mark 8:38 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My father who is in heaven. But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven" Matthew 10:32-33 God's plan and desire is for each Christian to grow. Ways to grow in your journey of faith are to: Read the Bible, Pray, Fellowship with other Christians. God's place for doing these important things is His church and the Sunday School. Here you will make friends, enjoy fellowship, and grow in your faith. You will learn more about how God wants you to live each day. Our church and Sunday School want to offer you the warmest and friendliest invitaion to join us. If you have accepted Jesus as Savior, baptism is your next step in following Him. Jesus set the example for us when He was baptized (Matthew 3:13-17). We please God when we obey Jesus' command and follow His example in every area of life, including baptism. Baptism: Is an outward picture of what Christ has done inside of you. Does not save a person. Is an act of obedience. Is your privilege as a new believer. Commitment Prayer "Dear Jesus, thank You for saving my soul. I do not want to be ashamed of You. Instead, I want to publicly stand for you before my family, my friends, and my coworkers. I also want to stand before Your church, with other Christians, as soon as possible. Amen."
